Carman
Carman is the first OBDII reader for Maemo platform. It aims to provide full access on car sensors provided by OBD interface through a rich and simple UI, using Maemo for Nokia N700, N8XX.
Carman has a lot o improvements since your old version (using SDL): Trips report, Map tracks, and Follow Friend, which is the best in my opinion.
Imagine if you could share your position, velocity and RPM in real-time with your registered friends on Jabber, Gtalk or even MSN? It should be very useful if you are trying to find that frequently lost friend, or to know where your boy/girlfriend is. :)
I have joined this project three months ago and I’m really exciting with what we can do on it.
